Thera is responsible for all Medicaid financial eligibility and policy issues pertaining to client facilities. Former Director of Eligibility and Director of Facility-Based Services for the Alabama Medicaid Agency, Thera is a licensed social worker with over 31 years experience in Medicaid policy. She directly supervised the development and implementation of many of the eligibility policies for the Alabama Medicaid nursing home program.
